My Friend, Michelle

My friend, Michelle, has been battling ALS for over 2 years now. She has lived courageously, with beauty and grace...not easy to do with this progressive disease. I was able to visit with her a week ago while back in MN. We hugged, shared some memories and cried a lot....she shared pictures of her beautiful children with me...gave me a copy of a poem she had written for her kids called, "I Wish"....yeah, pretty tough! I am very sad to share that she is saying her good-byes and will soon be in the arms of her Savior. You can find her story on caringbridge.org...typing in Houstons.
