What a week. It is certainly been a very difficult week. The finality of "closing up shop" at mom and dad's house...a whirlwind of decision's being made.
My brother, Todd and sister's, Carla and Annissa and I have spent many hours together making the tough decision's on how to close the door of the home we all grew up in with honor and respect to the legacy left by our parent's.
We had all the kids home and we have enjoyed our 3 days together between Carla's and Dad's house...we are quite a crowd! Thanks to my nephew, Chris, for graciously hosting all his cousin's! And to the Bergloff's for their hospitality.
Thanks to MANY for food and goodies, prayers, calls and hugs!
We've also had some wonderful family moments...some, VERY late nights! Last night we stayed up later than the "kids" singing along to Chuck's guitar playing. We sang all the oldies we could rustle up in our minds...drank a little wine and laughed...a very good night was had by all. We stayed up until 2am!!!! Can you believe it!!??
We are slowly saying goodbye to children and family members that need to return to "life" and school an other commitment's.
Chuck and the boys will return home tomorrow while I stay and attend to a few more details.
