AW SHUCKS!!!




I got a "TEXT" Thursday morning...EARLY... from my sister-in-law Bonny telling me that they have a pick-up load of FREE corn to "put up!" Hurry and get down here...we have lots of work to do! Oh...and pick up some quart bags on your way.
10am-6pm...4 of us working straight through...
We had 512 ears of corn that we blanched, cut off the cob and put into bags to freeze. That comes out to approximately 388 cups of Deeeelishious Sweet Corn all winter long! (YES...we actually DID count it!) Because when you're silly like us and want to "pat yourself on the back"...it's fun to know exactly how hard you worked.
We also have plenty to of corn on the cob to eat all wekk-end and to share with friends and family...everyone gets a little sweetness to enjoy!
A HARVEST OF GOLD!!!!!!!!
