We worked like gangbuster's yesterday! Chuck and I went to "the Farm" to can pears with sister Bonny and Mom and Dad Sabin.
In 5 hours we peeled and sliced #300 pears and put those pretty little things into quart jars...they sure will be delicious this winter...and probably next winter, too!!!!

Hmmmmm......just curious, I placed my order with your company last week....it hasn't arrived yet. Is it easier to send them once they are canned? I guess than we don't have to worry about them arriving bruised. I will be watching the mail this week! Sincerely, Pam Adrian
