Last night, I took the 3 young fellas in the pictures to hear Elizabeth Eckford speak on the desegregation of Central High School in Little Rock. She is the last surviving member of the "LITTLE ROCK NINE." A friend from our church...who is also the kids' high school Sunday School teacher...was instrumental in bringing this woman to Utah.
Jake thought it was very good and enjoyed her sense of humor.
There was standing room only. Elizabeth engaged the younger students in a delightful manner...and chose to highlight her conversation's with the students...even a young lad in the 1st grade bravely asked her a question.
