Rained Out

So...we had tickets to attend the Garrison Keillor concert Sunday night at the Red Butte Garden in SLC with some dear friends. We endured 70plus mile an hour winds, downpour, thunder, lightening, long lines, dust...and that was all done from the vantage point of a mountainside perch. After an hour and a half.....we "bailed." We were done in.

We rewarded ourselves with a yummy dinner before heading home. Watching the 10pm news later that night we heard about downed power lines, trees, debris...

How many rainy/stormy days do we have in Utah and the night we actually plan an outing....we get washed out!!??? Go figure!
