Jake started getting sick last Thursday. He ended up in the hospital with appendicitis. He had it removed late Saturday afternoon. He was discharged Sunday evening and we are home now, keeping it mellow. He is sleeping a lot! I think we have seen more than our share of Deadliest Catch, Cake Boss and ESPN (tv viewing Jake chooses). They are running "marathons" on those channels for the Holiday week-end....(no eye rolling from me!!!! No way!)
We brought him outside to watch the fireworks...and, pyromaniac brothers set off the package of little fire crackers, screamin' bees, mammoth and other appropriately named poppers to celebrate the 4th.
Thanks for the hospital visits! The comfort food provided and, of course, the many prayers! We are loved!
